Blending Operator Job Details
Plainfield, IN
Rotating Flex schedule | 12-hr 1st and 2nd shift | $20/HR Based on exp
- Temp with intent to hire
Blending Operator Requirements
- Blending/mixing experience
- 3 years’ experience in plant, foundry, mills, manufacturing, or construction.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- General math.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
About the Blending Operator Role
- Load reactors with materials (chemicals) in various stages.
- Monitor and observe processes to ensure the flow of the process is not interrupted.
- Monitor control boards that control process temperatures to meet specifications.
- Perform sampling and testing on hot resin to ensure products meet specifications.
- Ensures the work area is clean and free of debris.
- Responsible for moving materials to staging areas.
- Adhere to safety guidelines dictation of the handling of materials in a factory.
- Ensure that deadlines are met.
- Report issues or problems to immediate Team Lead or Supervisor.
- Complete daily tasks as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist in other departments as needed; cross training provided.
